By calling the Service, submitting a document, or\nmaking a payment, you (\"you\", the \"User\") agree to these Terms on behalf of\nyourself and any agent, system, or organization you operate. If you do not\nagree, do not use the Service.\n\n## 1. The Service\n\nPostAgent provides a programmatic HTTP API that accepts a document and a US\nrecipient address and arranges for that document to be printed and mailed within\nthe United States through one or more third-party print-and-mail providers\n(currently Lob). The Service is intended for use by autonomous software agents\nand their operators. The Service is provided by the operator (\"we\", \"us\", \"our\")\nand may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time without notice.\n\n## 2. Quotes and payment\n\n- Prices are returned as quotes. A quote locks a price for a limited window\n  (currently 15 minutes) and expires thereafter.\n- Payment is made per job using the x402 payment protocol (USDC on the\n  configured EVM network). Payment is verified before a print job is created and\n  settled only after the print-and-mail provider accepts the job.\n- If the provider rejects or fails to accept a job, no payment is settled.\n- All fees are quoted and charged in addition to any network, blockchain, or\n  third-party fees, which are your responsibility.\n\n## 3. Your responsibilities and acceptable use\n\nYou are solely and fully responsible for everything you submit to the Service\nand for all use of the Service through your credentials, wallet, or agent. You\nrepresent and warrant that:\n\n- You own or have all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary to print,\n  mail, and distribute every document you submit, and to use every address you\n  provide.\n- Your use complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and postal rules.\n\nYou may not use the Service to create, send, or facilitate any content that is\nunlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene,\ninfringing, or that violates the rights of any person, or that violates USPS,\ncarrier, or provider rules. We do not pre-screen or moderate document content,\nbut we may refuse, suspend, cancel, or remove any request or account at our sole\ndiscretion, with or without notice.\n\n## 4. Delivery\n\nPrinting and delivery are performed by third-party providers and the United\nStates Postal Service or other carriers. Delivery dates are estimates only and\nare not guaranteed. We do not control and are not responsible for the acts,\nomissions, delays, loss, damage, or failures of any provider, carrier, or postal\nservice. Once a letter has entered production it generally cannot be canceled or\nrecalled.\n\n## 5. Refunds\n\nRefunds are best-effort and at our sole discretion. Where a job is not accepted\nby the provider, payment is not settled. Where a job fails after settlement, a\nrefund may be issued to the paying wallet at our discretion. Jobs that have\nentered production are non-refundable. We are not obligated to issue refunds for\ndelivery delays, non-delivery by the carrier, or content errors.\n\n## 6. No warranties\n\nTHE SERVICE IS PROVIDED \"AS IS\" AND \"AS AVAILABLE\" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY\nKIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF\nMERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND\nNON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED,\nERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT ANY DOCUMENT WILL BE PRINTED, MAILED, OR DELIVERED.\n\n## 7. Limitation of liability\n\nTO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT,\nINCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY\nLOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED\nTO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY\nFOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO A JOB IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR\nTHAT JOB; OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE\nWILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS\nBEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) USD 100.\n\n## 8. Indemnification\n\nYou agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator and its\naffiliates, officers, agents, and providers from and against any claims,\nliabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees)\narising out of or related to your documents, your use of the Service, your\nviolation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.\n\n## 9. Suspension and termination\n\nWe may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time,\nfor any reason, without liability. Sections that by their nature should survive\ntermination (including Sections 3, 6, 7, 8, and 10) survive.\n\n## 10. Governing law and disputes\n\nThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without\nregard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the\nstate or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their\njurisdiction. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises.\n\n## 11. Changes\n\nWe may update these Terms at any time. The current version and effective date\nare always available from the `/v1/terms` endpoint. What we process\n\nTo fulfil a print-and-mail request, the Service processes:\n\n- The document you upload.\n- The recipient postal address you provide, and the sender address.\n- Job, quote, and payment metadata (including the paying wallet address and the\n  on-chain settlement transaction reference).\n- Basic technical data such as API requests, timestamps, and operational logs.\n\nYou are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any personal\ninformation contained in documents or addresses. Do not submit information you\nare not authorized to share. This version does not require or collect a verified\nsender identity.\n\n## 2. How we use what we process\n\nWe use the data to provide and operate the Service, fulfil jobs, process and\nverify payment, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security and audit integrity,\ncomply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms.\n\n## 3. Document storage and retention\n\n- Uploaded documents are stored in Google Cloud Storage.\n- Documents are retained for a configurable retention window (default 90 days),\n  after which the stored file is permanently deleted. Job, quote, payment, and\n  audit metadata are retained for record-keeping and may be retained\n  indefinitely.\n- A SHA-256 digest of each document is recorded to support de-duplication and\n  audit.\n\n## 4. Third parties\n\n- **Lob** receives the document (via a short-lived signed URL), the recipient\n  and sender addresses, and job metadata in order to print and mail the letter.\n- **x402 facilitator** receives the payment payload in order to verify and\n  settle payment.\n- **Infrastructure providers** (such as Google Cloud) host the Service.\n\nWe share only what is necessary to provide the Service. Third parties handle data\nunder their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control. We may also\ndisclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the\nService.\n\n## 5. Audit logging\n\nThe Service maintains an append-only audit log of key actions (document upload,\nquote creation, job creation, payment settlement, status changes, and document\npurge) for security and operational integrity.\n\n## 6. Security\n\nAccess to internal operations endpoints is restricted by API key, and document\nURLs handed to providers are time-limited signed URLs. No method of transmission\nor storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use\nthe Service at your own risk.\n\n## 7. Your responsibilities\n\nBecause the Service acts on instructions from agents and operators, you are\nresponsible for the lawful basis, consent, and notices required for any personal\ninformation you submit on behalf of yourself or others.\n\n## 8.
